Vilken nivå och vad behöver jag?
Språkkafé online är på svenska, så det är bäst om du har minst A2 nivå. Nivå B1 och uppåt är perfekt. Om du är nybörjare och bara vill komma och lyssna, går det också bra.

I’ve been going along to the Språkkafé online for a few months now and have really gained confidence in speaking and understanding Swedish.
Like many of us, I suspect, I don’t have many chances to practise speaking (with real people!); but the café gives the perfect opportunity to do this in a supportive environment.
I was quite nervous to begin with but soon felt very comfortable as everyone was very helpful and encouraging. No-one is testing or judging you, and the important thing is that you can speak as much or as little as you like.

You feel in touch with the language and other learners
You meet people from all over the world and get to speak Swedish – a double win! I also like the fact that there are different levels of confidence and proficiency – it’s certainly not the case that everyone at the café speaks fluent Swedish (as I can demonstrate!).
Daniel is also there to offer support and encouragement – and help us when we can’t find the right word. The kafé is a great way to really feel in touch both with the language and with other learners of Swedish.

Jag ser verkligen fram emot Språkkaféet varje vecka!
Just nu bor jag utomlands och kaféet är ett utmärkt sätt att hålla kontakten med svenska. Det är både lärorikt och mysigt, med många värdefulla tips och mycket skratt.
Det finns ingen press alls, det är bara en välkomnande grupp som bryr sig om svenska och vill öva med andra.
Rekommenderas jättevarmt!

The språkkafé online is one of the highlights of my week!
It’s a great way to practice Swedish and get valuable tips, plus it’s fun talking to Daniel and the other students.
Speaking Swedish when you’re not actually in Sweden can be quite a challenge, but attending the weekly språkkafé helps me stay in touch with the language.
It’s really helped boost my confidence and my vocabulary.
